The units are designed and manufactured using state of the art computer aided design systems.
All units are fired by ACE VJ Series gas or oil burners, which are match tested in our factory in Haslingden, Lancashire. The choice of control for the burners includes on/off, high/low and fully modulating, fitted with our unique patented IRIS damper and modulate both the fuel and the air to ensure optimum combustion throughout the firing range, with turndown ratios of at least 20:1, if required (5:1 on modulating oil burners). (See ACE burner data sheets).
The range can be specified with air discharge in either horizontal (left or right) and vertical (upward or downward), with or without air supply fan set. Air flow is always over the combustion chamber before the heat exchanger section.
A wide range of fuels can be specified i.e. natural gas, LPG, 28/35 sec fuel oil or dual fuel combinations.
NOTE: Light oil burners use the ACE vaporising head which burns cleaner than the normal oil pressure jet head configurations.
Applications include incorporation into air handling units for space heating and air conditioning. Process heating equipment for indirectly heated ovens and dryers for use in the textile, refractory, paper, glass and many other industries.
Construction of the units include stainless steel combustion chambers flame reversal, with the option of stainless steel or mild steel heat exchanger sections (all stainless steel units are fitted with condense drain point). Cabinets when required can be constructed to site conditions.
The thermal output rating is based on the approximate air volume through the heat module as shown with a maximum temperature rise of 55°C. The operational ceiling is validated up to 125°C. For higher temperatures consult ACE with operating parameters and requirements.
Special designs and applications will be accommodated by the ACE Thermal Fluids design team.
